The Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is proud to offer our citizens the opportunity to honor and remember their loved ones by donating a bench to a City of Raleigh park or greenway trail.

Planting a tree in honor or in memory of the people we love, or to recognize those who positively influence our lives, is a centuries old tradition. The Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is proud to offer our citizens the opportunity to create these living tributes.

The countdown to the Holly Jolly Raleigh Winter Prom has begun, and we invite local businesses to become a part of this exciting event while supporting a worthy cause! Scheduled for January 11, 2025, at Dix Park Chapel, the prom aims to raise funds for the Raleigh Parks Play It Forward financial assistance program. The event will be promoted through Raleigh Parks’ communication channels, including the website, emails, and social media. We encourage our sponsors to share the promotional materials within their networks to maximize reach.

With approximately 10,000 acres of parkland, the Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources department offers an opportunity for citizens to donate funds for the enhancement of City of Raleigh parks and greenway trails. All general parkland enhancement donation requests will be reviewed by appropriate PRCR staff. Funds donated will be used towards costs of approved projects that fit within the parklands Master Plan and Maintenance Plan.

Give the gift of play! The City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources Department strives to provide programs to all. Thanks to generous donations like yours, we are able to provide financial assistance to those in need. One hundred percent of your donation goes directly to families in the triangle area. The scholarship fund helps reduce barriers to participation in recreation programs that encourage healthy lifestyles, promote self-confidence and teach life-long lessons.

We are excited to have you as attend our inaugural Pawsitively Imperfect Pet Portraits and Pop-up Pet Market on April 20th at Abbotts Creek Community Center. This serves as your vending receipt for the day. One hundred percent of your $25.00 donation fee will go towards the Play it Forward Raleigh Financial Assistance fund. Thank you!
